Cheri D. Brown, DC, LPAc.

Founder & Holistic Bodywork Practitioner

Cheri D. Brown, DC is dedicated to providing the tools for her patients to learn to heal themselves. She treats each patient and case individually, spending time with each patient to talk about many aspects of health. Looking at the overall view of her patient’s wellness, such as stress, digestion, sleep patterns, physical symptoms, and mental and emotional health, leads to a better understanding of the root of the problem and helps her to create, together with her patient, a unique approach to wellness and balance.

Dr. Brown has a Bachelor’s degree in Massage Therapy and has been practicing massage since 1996. She received her doctorate in chiropractic medicine in 2008 from Western States Chiropractic College. She holds chiropractic licenses in Indiana and Oregon. Dr. Brown continued with her postdoctoral education at National University of Health Sciences studying functional rehabilitation, and the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. She has training in BodyTalk, through the International BodyTalk Association and CranioSacral training through the Upledger Institute, Ad Humanitas and the Academy of Wholistic Manual Medicine.

Dr. Brown believes connecting with ourselves in relation to nature is an integral part of healing our wounds and traumas.  She weaves a theme of nature and the cycles of the seasons into her meditation practice and facilitation, as a certified Yoga Nidra instructor. She is excited to be on a path of study and healing bringing humans and horses together utilizing Equine Assisted Learning and Coaching through the Academy of Coaching With Horses and Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Learning through Natural Lifemanship.

For Dr. Brown, moving toward balance is a lifelong process!  It is exciting to think we can continuously learn and grow, becoming more present in our bodies and conscious of the world around us.  Dr. Brown has spent years teaching patients and massage students how to increase their awareness of themselves and how they can safely touch the world through other people and animals.  Her passion is to educate individuals about health, wellness and decreasing stress on themselves, others, and the planet in a safe, supportive environment.

He has over 20 years of experience in counseling people who are suffering from mental health and substance use issues. He has served in a wide range of therapeutic settings including in-home family therapy, partial and intensive outpatient care and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
